GAP Announces Three New Hires

January brought three new faces to the Graham Architectural Products team.

Steve Weisser joined GAP as safety manager. He is responsible for planning and implementing safety policies and procedures in compliance with local, state, and federal OSHA rules and regulations. He works to plan and implement programs to train managers and employees in workplace safety practices, fire prevention, and correct handling techniques of hazardous materials and equipment.

Previously, Steve worked as safety and health manager at Goodhart Sons, Inc., where he developed and implemented company safety and health policies and safe work procedure training programs. In addition, he administered the worker’s compensation claim program, investigated all accidents and injuries, and adhered to all recording procedures of OSHA accident and medical cases.

Steve also served as director of EHS Services at the Lancaster Regional Medical Center, where he directed a 24/7 environmental health and safety service group, and served as the hospital representative for site audit inspections with OSHA, the EPA and other federal agencies.

Steve holds certifications as an OSHA Instructor as well as a First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor.

Steven Skaggs, our new field service manager, manages GAP’s field service personnel and scheduling of services.

Steve has an extensive window background with over 30 years in the industry, and is a seasoned installation manager, production manager, and regional salesman.

He has worked for Modern Window and Door, Pro Window and Door, NT Window, Inc., and, most recently, Accent Windows. His jobs have taken him from Arkansas to Texas to Colorado and now to York.

Meanwhile, Danielle Daugherty joins GAP as assistant project manager. Her main responsibilities will be responding to customer inquiries regarding pricing, delivery and order status, in addition to completing parts orders, setting up deliveries and much more.

Before joining the GAP team, Danielle worked as a customer service representative at Rite Aid Corporation, where she updated and managed records for all aspects of patient billing, and at Lowe’s Home Improvement, where she helped ensure the overall operational integrity of the store. She also mentored employees to ensure they were well trained and capable of performing their assigned duties. She has also served as office administrator for ReLampIt, where she provided support to the sales team, ensuring all sales and service objectives were met.
